For the enlargement and the maintenance of our steadily growing supplier network we are seeking a:

Buyer* for powersports parts and accessories

at our headquarters in Wasserliesch (Germany)


Your responsibilities at Parts Europe:

  • Working from our headquarters in Germany you participate in the development, improvement and implementation of optimal purchasing strategies and concepts
  • You negotiate prices and conditions with our suppliers and take care of implementing those
  • By carrying out extensive market observations you are able to do the forward planning of purchased quantities based on experiences and market developments
  • Additionally, you coordinate overall purchasing activities, process provider reclamations and handle orders by using the basic information of the ERP-Forecast-System
  • Furthermore, you determine and maintain purchasing data (e.g., product availability, vendor policy, costs), that is necessary to obtain inventory as required and take care of administrative tasks
  • For cataloging, buyers are responsible for acquiring and providing relevant data of products and their specifications, additionally they will review all details regularly and will advise corrections and improvements for the presentation of these products

You bring along:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial or technical training and already gained several years of experience as a purchaser at a distributor of technical accessories
  • Technical understanding is mandatory for this position, knowledge about the European powersports market is seen as an advantage
  • You have good commercial knowledge alongside strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and a dedicated sense of cost-consciousness
  • Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken are necessary for this position, additional languages are beneficial
  • You do have good knowledge of the most popular MS Office programs (especially Excel), experience in using an ERP system is seen as advantage
  • Besides you work independently, are an organized and responsibly person and look forward to new challenges
