Due to the still ongoing pandemic situation, many people are currently unsure: Should I even change jobs at the moment? How does the application process work in Corona times and what does the onboarding look like?
We at Parts Europe are still looking for new colleagues for different work areas who want to shape the future of our company together with us. Our career page is always up to date and you can find all open positions. Feel free to look around directly. Maybe there is the right job for you! If not, we are always happy to receive your unsolicited application!
Recruiting in Corona Times
What happens after your application? In Recruiting we quickly adapted to the new conditions. We currently conduct initial interviews via video conference to get to know each other. This way we do not expose you or our colleagues to any unnecessary health risks. In the further course of the application process, however, we also try to make it possible to get to know each other personally on site, live and in color.
Working in pandemic conditions
Thanks to digitalization and home office, as well as special hygiene and behavioral measures, anything is still possible. Also in 2022, many colleagues continue to work from home. Other colleagues however, especially our warehouse and the logistics department, of course but also members from further departments and teams hold the fort on site, of course with the greatest possible protection and hygiene and still in a good mood!
Onboarding – arriving at Parts Europe
On your first working day, we usually welcome you and other new colleagues with a welcome event. Although this is shorter than usual and the company tour and the joint lunch are omitted, you can get to know your team and colleagues in home office via video call.
In order to give you the opportunity to really get to know the company, we usually give new colleagues the chance to work mainly in the office for the first few weeks. After that, you will discuss your next steps with your supervisor on an individual basis.
Parts Europe as responsible employer
Communication in Corona times is a matter for our boss. Matthias Bayer, Chief Operating Officer at Parts Europe, has been regularly informing all employees about important changes during this period since March 2020.
Behavioral recommendations for colleagues in Warehouse and Office as well as adjustments to hygiene concepts are communicated on a regular basis. An internal testing center was set up to protect colleagues on site. In addition, all colleagues were offered a corona vaccination. We take into consideration special risk groups such as pregnant women and try to take individual wishes and needs into account.
